NOTHING NEW UNDER THE SUN

The world we live in is constantly in upheaval. Scarcity and turmoil abound! Savings disappear because of fear of what may be. Children are maimed for life or die because of war; but more so from disease, hunger, and neglect!
In an often-vain search for “more”, mankind continues to make the planet filthy and doomed to become uninhabitable.
But thousands of years ago the First Book of Moses, GENESIS, was written, opening a window to a wonderful future then, and providing a path to a fantastic future now!
“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.”
But to see the view offered by that window, it is necessary to consider correcting some human errors.
You see, in Hebrew, the language of the Bible, different words are used.
The word "God" in the first line of GENESIS, in Hebrew, is two words, “HOLY MEN”; and, the word “CREATED” is “ORGANIZED”.
As for “HEAVEN”, as per GENESIS, that is not some far away place, rather…
“And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.”
“And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.”
“And God called the firmament Heaven.”
Today, do we not call that firmament “atmosphere”?!
And earth? GENESIS also declares…
“And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg; for in his days was the earth divided;”
That might mean the entire planet was torn asunder, but probably not; or, it might mean that the entire mass of land was divided by continental drift, but probably not; or, it might mean that an earthquake divided the land where Peleg lived, possibly; but the most likely meaning, as per a scholarly claim, is that areas of land were divided amongst nations.
Thus, earlier references in GENESIS to “earth”, may refer to an area of land, not the entire planet.
And that brings us to an earlier reference in GENESIS…
“The earth was without form and void, and darkness covered the deep waters. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.”
That sounds like what today we call “TERRA FORMING”; which we plan to do on other planets by providing an atmosphere!
But consider three words, “FORM”, “VOID”, and “DARKNESS”.
FORM may be interpreted as an old English term for “living creature”.
VOID may be interpreted as “was full but is now empty”.
And DARKNESS may be interpreted as “pollution”.
Now, let’s consider a statement declared in the Bible to have been made by the “wisest of men”, Solomon, known as the author of ECCLESIASTES…
“The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.”
Thus, GENESIS may not only be stating that sometime ago, pollution had wiped out life, at least in an area if not the entire planet, and that holy or wise men cleaned it up so that life could abound; but also seems to lay out what wise men may do today!
